Please read all this information as it pertains to our upcoming January 28 & 29, 2017 Gun Show at the ROC Dome. There are some changes in procedures from past shows.
~ Show Hours for General public is Saturday: 9am – 4pm, Sunday: 9am – 3pm. (ESACA Members are allowed admission at 8am on both days. Vendors are allowed entrance at 7am and 8am respectively.
~ Show setup hours on Friday evening are 2pm – 7pm. ESACA Members are welcome to attend setup. Vendors are required to stay and staff their tables until 7pm. Security will not be provided for the facility until after then.
~ General admission doors and ticket booth are on the RIGHT side of the entrance. ESACA Member doors and ticket booth are on the LEFT side of the entrance. All Firearms coming into the show must be checked by security at the CENTER doors of the entrance, then you must proceed to your appropriate booth to get your bar coded tickets.
~ ALL attendees to the show, members and general public, must have a bar coded ticket that will be scanned by the Dome staff upon entry at the dome ramp. You must obtain these tickets at the appropriate booth at the entrance. Either at the RIGHT booth with your $8.00 admission or at the LEFT booth with showing your current ESACA membership badge. The bar coded tickets are good for that day of the show only.
~ General admission is $8.00 for any attendees 10 years and older. Children under 10 years old ARE able to attend at no charge and must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
~ In the event that you have to bring merchandise to your vehicle or leave the venue, Re-entry to the show will be allowed with hand stamp ONLY.
~ ESACA members needing to renew membership can do this at the LEFT side ticket booth. Upon renewal you will receive your bar coded entrance ticket to the show. Your membership badge IS REQUIRED to receive your entrance ticket.
~ ALL Vendors must park in the lot behind the dome and minett hall. Vendor entrance to the show will be through the REAR door at the entrance area ONLY. Entrance is with your vendor badges.
~ All vendors have been sent 2 badges with your table confirmations. If a vendor has a large amount of tables (6 or more) and have additional people manning the tables, additional badges can be obtained from the show manager at Friday night setup.
~ Wifi will be available in the building for use by our vendors, staff and Monroe County Clerk. The wifi passwords will be provided at setup.
~ The Monroe County Clerk will be in attendance at the show to conduct pistol permit business and facilitate hand gun sales. We do not have formal confirmation as to the times that they will be there. But historically it has been between 10am and 2pm. But this could be different for this show.
~ All Firearms transactions NEED to have a NICS check conducted. this can be done by the selling dealer or by a designated show dealer for Person to Person transactions. When the NICS check is completed the firearm will have on “OK to Release Tag” attached to it and a receipt will be given to the buyer. The tag, your receipt and your photo ID will be needed for security to allow the firearm to leave the building upon exiting the show.
~ Photography of any kind at the show is prohibited.
